A success story from the Kiskunság. The woodpatch on the picture was empty untill 2005 early spring, when the nest-boxes were placed out. In the same year a few pairs of Red-footed falcons bred here and in 2006 a few pairs of rooks built nests in the canopy. In 2007, more than 30 Red-footed falcon pairs and over 100 pairs of rook reared their young in this small patch of trees - Kiskunság, Hungary. April, 2007 - Péter Palatitz
